Brazilian producer gui2in has officially unveiled his remix of Mandragora’s ‘Me Gustas,’ reshaping the originally organic-leaning record into a tightly engineered, peak-time club weapon. Released on January 28, the remix marks a new chapter in the unexpected connection between the two artists.

Where the original ‘Me Gustas’ carried a more organic pulse, gui2in’s remix introduces a sharper, more synthesized framework. Anchored by a low-slung, elastic bassline, the track trades natural textures for polished low-end pressure and defined rhythmic control. Punchy kicks cut cleanly through the mix while crisp percussive elements create rolling momentum. The result is functional, efficient, and deliberately built for late-night club moments.

The remix was not a routine label assignment. It came directly from Mandragora himself a defining global psy-trance figure who has recently gravitated toward groove-heavy minimal and tech house influences. That creative alignment traces back to gui2in’s breakout Black Book Records release, ‘The Party,’ a record that expanded his international footprint and sparked the initial connection between the two artists.

Beyond commissioning the remix, Mandragora extended the collaboration to the stage, inviting gui2in to perform at his Label Party, Le Chat Rouge, at Curitiba’s iconic Club Vibe a clear co-sign that positioned gui2in within Mandragora’s evolving sonic orbit.

The remix’s early streaming performance further reinforces its club credibility. The track has secured placements on influential playlists including Tech House Operator and All New Dance, signaling algorithmic and editorial support while introducing gui2in’s sound to a broader global audience.

Rather than amplifying psychedelic maximalism, gui2in opts for tension through subtraction prioritizing groove architecture, weight, and synth-driven control over melodic excess. The transition from organic textures to a more synthesized, club-optimized structure mirrors Mandragora’s current artistic evolution while underlining gui2in’s growing authority in the peak-time minimal space.

Following the impact of ‘The Party’ on Black Book Records, gui2in has continued to refine a lane that merges high-energy minimal aesthetics with precision-engineered club functionality. With Mandragora’s endorsement, strong playlist momentum, and a remix built for pressure-tested dancefloors, this latest release underscores a broader shift: genre lines softening, scenes intersecting, and Brazilian talent increasingly shaping the global club conversation.
