GF: Hello Alevtina, thanks for joining us today, we know that you're a resident of SkyBar in Kyiv, tell us what are the most notable features of the Ukrainian electronic music scene?

At the moment, the Ukrainian electronic is developing by leaps and bounds. This summer alone we have hosted more than 10 festivals such as (White Nights, Atlas Weekend, Brave factory, Wave Spot). Such large projects as "Ibiza" Odessa, Kureni, Closer, Skybar constantly invite top artists of club culture to their parties. I can list those I remember from the last season (Solomun, Maceo Plex, Black Coffee, Tale Of Us, Who Made Who, Monolink, Stephan Bodzin, Sven Väth, Ricardo Villalobos, ARTBAT, Jamie Jones, Âme). And the club on Kirilovskaya Street is visited by people from all over Europe and even clubbers from Berlin say that it is not inferior in level to the ligendaron "Berghain"

GF: How does it feel to go back to doing real shows after being away for so long? What was the most memorable moment?

Well, if really for me it was just to feel a vibe of people, sharing energy, not just in YouTube but to be connected again.

GF: How long ago did you begin DJing? What are your biggest musical references? And what, or whom, was the catalyst which brought you into the art form?

I'm in music as a DJ already for 8 years. From childhood I was inspired by great artists such as George Michael, Michael Jackson, Madonna and Depeche Mode. I have always liked disco and electro pop rhythms, so there are always shades of these styles in my mixes.

GF: What are some of the key moments of your career that have elevated you to where you are today?

I can't remember specific moments, there was a lot, but I can say for sure that there were a lot of nights and days without sleep!

GF: As a music producer, what are your biggest achievements?

Probably I can mention 2 first releases on Glasgow Undergrouns and Snatch! Records.

GF: What can partygoers expect and what do you want them to feel during your performance?

I think I try to make a journey, which will depends of the place, my mood and most important is people around. But usually I love when people are just happy.

GF: Can you tell us what are your next plans and what we can expect from Alevtina this year?

Oh sure, soon will have releases, on Happy Techno and EP on RIM label, where you can find Reblok’s and Italobros remixes on my track that we done with amazing vocalist Anetti. And in September at Skybar we will have Dennis Cruz, I will play before him, so stay tuned!

GF: Since you started playing, you’ve certainly performed at several parties. Can you choose which was the most memorable gig you’ve played?

For sure, it was in Argentina, where I played for 7 hours. Still remember this, the crowd was just wow!

GF: Three things you'd say to people who are getting to know you right now?

- Never doubt your musical preferences;

- There is competition in everything in the world, so never give up, otherwise you will not know what trophy awaits you at the end of the journey;

- Do what you love, love what you do.
