Recollect brings together DJs, fire dancers, tattoo artists, vendors, visual artists, and the community that makes it all matter. No velvet ropes. No headline hype. Just raw energy, shared space, and sound that moves with intention.
Downtown has always been the crossing point.
It’s where the city’s contradictions collide wealth and struggle, abandonment and reinvention. And in that friction, a different kind of scene emerges: off-grid, self-made, unapologetically local.
Each edition brings together a rotating cast of underground talent from across the globe. On Thursday, July 17, Recollect joins forces with fellow collective Tech Me Out for a special night featuring JJsoJJ, as part of his US tour through the country’s independent circuits, one dance floor at a time
While mainstream LA chases the next trend, this corner of the city holds steady. Warehouse floors become dance spaces. Side alleys become galleries. Community replaces production value.
No spotlight.
No spectacle.
Just the people, the sound, and a city that still knows how to breathe after dark.
